Shield of the Guardians - Fran Becker

Nathan Seaward, is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys fitness, music and mysticism. As a professional dj with over 5 years experience, he has become well acquainted with several diffrent musical genres including rock, electronic, pop and urban styles of music.

Nathan has received a certificate in massage therapy and is currently working on a degree in general studies from Athabasca University. He has taken several writing courses, as well as a course in astronomy which is a fascination of his. Nathan loves to read and write and feels that education helps people continue to grow as long as they are alive. He feels that exercise and nutrition are important to maintaining a long life and healthy frame of mind and lifts weights, does cardio and sometimes yoga at least three times a week. Nathan also meditates daily.

As an outdoor enthusiast who lived in Jasper, Alberta for eight months Nathan had a job as "The Soul Man" on the local CJAG radio. He has scrambled to the summits of many peaks throughout the Banff/Canmore/Jasper areas, and has been on countless day hikes and adventures. Canyon hikes are among his favourites, as are day hikes around the beautiful blue and green lakes of the Canadian Rockies. Nathan loves finding quiet, serene places away from hustle and noise where he can meditate and nourish the soul with fresh mountain air.

For several years Nathan has pursued the mystical teachings and has come upon many interesting people and books. He has spoken with Rosicrucian and Sufi masters, studied dream yoga, lucid dreaming and of course, several forms of meditation. Nathan is convinced that there is more to the world than we perceive with our five senses and is on a journey to see what the Universe will impart upon him.
